We have not appointed a data protection officer, as this is not legally required (§ 38 BDSG). If you have any questions about data protection, please contact us directly.

2. General information on data processing

As a matter of principle, we only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. Processing regularly takes place only with the user's consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), on the basis of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), to fulfil legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) or on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

3. Provision of the website & server log files

Each time our website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device (server log files). The following are collected:

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable, secure operation of the website). The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless security-relevant incidents require longer storage.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by:
Individual & Systemlösungen – Jochen Görnitz
Brunnenstraße 2
56357 Bogel
Germany

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host. Processing takes place exclusively within the European Union. The legal basis for the use is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable, secure provision of this website).

5. Cookies

We use exclusively technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the website (e.g. session cookie for the contact form and storing your cookie consent). The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. These cookies are set without your consent.

Optional cookies or content (in particular embedded videos – see section 7) are only loaded after your express consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

6. Contact form & email contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data transmitted (name, email address, possibly phone and company, content of the message) is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) as well as Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries.

We use a server-side arithmetic captcha (no data to third parties) to prevent spam. When you send an enquiry, we additionally transmit to ourselves the sender's IP address and the timestamp as part of the incoming email; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abusive enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). For reasons of data minimisation, the IP address is cryptographically hashed with a daily rotating salt before sending – we therefore do not store a direct IP, but a pseudonym token that allows us to recognise within the same day whether several enquiries originate from the same connection.

Your data is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted as soon as processing has been completed and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO – up to 10 years) apply.

7. Embedded content (YouTube)

On individual pages we embed videos from YouTube (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These videos are only loaded after your active consent. During playback, Google may process data (including IP address, device information) and, where applicable, transfer it to servers in the USA. For transfers to the USA, Google relies on the standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission of 10 July 2023).

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights:

9. Data security

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. The transmission of this website is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to data processing make this necessary. The current version is always available via this page.
